Empowered and Saitama

After reading the comic book "Empowered" and the manga "One Punch Man" and seeing how similar their circumstances are:

-Empowered or "Emps" is a professional superhero whose powers come from her suit. Problem is, when her suit gets ripped she becomes powerless! As a result; she always ends up getting taken hostage. Because of this, she has become the laughing stock of the superhero world and villains alike. Thanks to those experiences, she has become very insecure about herself and is disheartened with how everyone treats her. Despite this, she still tries to be a superhero and to be a better person than the rest.

-Saitama is a professional superhero who has the strength of a God: almost every battle ends with one punch. Despite him repeatedly saving the world, he is not famous in the slightest. He is despised by the public for taking credit from other heroes and considered to be weak and worthless amongst his peers. Despite this, he is secure about himself and lets nothing faze him and stop him from doing his duty... after all, he's being a superhero because he wants to. Not because he wants to the people to love him.

-The act of being a superhero has become an organized business. With various organizations that arise around it. Popularity plays a major role in the business.

Needless to say, that's what spurned me to create this.


Now, for anyone interested in the Dialogue between Emps and Saitama:

Emps: Amazing! You destroyed him in one punch! And you say you weren't born with super powers... What's your secret?

Saitama: ...Alright. To get this strong all I had to do...

Emps: ...!

Saitama: ..was one-hundred pushups, one-hundred situps, one-hundred squats and ten kilometer running every single day!

Emps: ... (Is he serious?)
